Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade Review

Whatever you’d like to go to perform with the hair kit, Andis clippers are the most useful among the professional devices come with convenience in your home running. This guide (or review) of the Andis T-Outliner will allow you to have a quick look at the product information especially when you’re in the market to look for a personal trimmer.

This model is extremely popular among professional barbers and home users alike. As a trimmer, it performs well as its durability and performance. It is actually one of my favorites when it comes to getting that “bald” quality of cut and shaping or detailing jobs.

Major Benefits

The Andis T-Outliner Trimmer has been with me for almost a year and it still cuts in the same way it did when I first acquired them. It has wide blade, which requires lesser strokes. It cuts thin just like when it’s professionally done but not “razor” thin. This clipper is the next best thing to the barber kind of experience. I am impressed with this brand because you get exactly what you paid for. It requires a little maintenance like oiling but then again don’t other outliners require this from time to time?

If you buy the kit, it lets you get the better of two worlds as it is both a trimmer and clipper. Just because it is labeled as trimmer doesn’t mean that it functions weaker than a clipper. In fact, when barbers are asked for the bald cut, they are more likely to use T-blade trimmers and often they use Andis.

Magnetic Motor

The clipper/trimmer is interestingly running on magnetic motor. Typically, I would not recommend anyone to use clippers/trimmers that run on magnetic motors but when we are talking about T-Outliner I’d say this is an exception to the rule.

It has a compact design with thin profile and the overlapping of the blades run very close to nil, which works well on magnetic motors.

This is the reason why the motor is quiet and heat production is lesser.

Carbon Steel Blades

It comes with blades manufactured from carbon steel. This makes the blades extremely durable, hard and sharp. As mentioned previously, the blades don’t overlap so the finished cut will be down to the skin without using any razor. The T-Outliner has a T-blade, which is a nice concept and works slow to cut everything it passes once. If you prefer to get the bald finish, this clipper/trimmer is definitely worth spending your money for.

Lightweight

The compact design and extremely light weight make the Trimmer easy to operate even when you want to bald the back of your head or just trimming your side. The shell casing is manufactured with durable plastic. I believe this tool can handle a few knocking-over. It is designed for professionals and made to last, which is usually seen on heavy duty 8ft power cable.

Excellent Detailing

This Andis trimmer is ideal for people who want a “balding” clipper/trimmer. It is extremely durable, which gives you the preferred fine cuts for years. Since it is a detailing clipper, it can also be used as side burn or moustache shaper provided usually by razors. The compact design is great for all kinds of use – home, professional and even when traveling.
